Thank you to those who completed our recent online survey into the use and style of this bulletin. Your input has helped us develop an overview of who reads this bulletin and any preferences you may have.
In summary, predominant readers are of information, performance or IT roles within YOTs and the YJB. Only one person from the secure estate responded and no Governors or YOT managers responded.
Articles are seen to be always or occasionally useful, with readers in the main having no difficulty understanding them and finding them easy to read. A small number did say that too much unfamiliar terminology was used, and this will be borne in mind for future articles.
All respondents said they gained a better picture of information sharing across the youth justice system, and would like more focus on actions they need to take.
We had considered producing the bulletin in a plain email version, however the overwhelming majority of responders said the formatted email is preferred.
Most respondents receive the ebulletin direct from the Wiring Up Youth Justice mailbox, and a few also share it with colleagues.
Everyone finds the links to web pages helpful and there was a 50/50 split in preference for the bulletin to be produced every month compared with six-weekly as now. We will continue with the current frequency for the time being.
