The Wiring Up Youth Justice programme seeks to ensure that practitioners in the youth justice system have both the tools and the information they need to improve the lives of children and young people.
Practitioners have a much better chance to reduce the risk of offending and reoffending if they are able to share the information they have with other practitioners, ensuring that everyone has the best understanding of the young person they are working with.
The programme is being led and implemented by the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales (YJB), in partnership with the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) and Criminal Justice Information Technology (CJIT) [all links open in a new window].
This website is designed to give youth justice practitioners up-to-date information on all aspects of the programme.
